Human beings were not designed to live in such a lacklustre physical state. Our hunting and gathering ancestors would be appalled at our current physical strength. We once ran to hunt, built camps and manoeuvered through rough terrain. We now live in concrete jungles with little variety in terrain and environment. The world we live in requires so little of the actual physical capabilities that we have through our physical heritage.
Technology has usurped what was once natural in our bodies and our senses were enlivened as well as our bodies were sentient organic and living sense organs. If the physical body is a vessel for our soul, what has become of the soul?
